About Santa Fe Fire & Rescue
Santa Fe Fire & Rescue was formed in 1995 to provide the citizens of Santa Fe and the surrounding area with unmatched fire, rescue and emergency medical services.
The Fire Division is comprised completely of volunteer firefighters that respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to calls for service:
- Fires
- Rescues
- Hazardous Materials Incidents
The EMS Division is comprised of 4 full-time Paramedic supervisors and multiple part-time paramedics and EMTs
Full-time office personnel are responsible for administrative duties.
Santa Fe Fire & Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization funded by the Galveston County Emergency Services District #1, the first and only district of its kind in the county
